How to Decorate your Home for Christmas

on Saturday, 5 November 2011

The traditional time for putting up Christmas decorations is the 1st day of December. However many people are starting work on this project from mid November, simply because they need a lot of work to present the home well.

For some people, Christmas decorations are as simple as a putting up a Christmas tree and Nativity set inside and a festive wreath on the front door. For others, decorating the home for Christmas is such an important family tradition that their decoration is a well organised and thorough annual event where all of the family participates. And for a few dedicated decorators, Christmas also becomes a festival of Christmas lights, with lawn and rooftop ornaments, and all sorts of other indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. Some homes become an interesting attraction for people to drive by and admire each evening.

For most families, Christmas is the time to really celebrate "goodwill to all men"; it's about the family and close friends, good fun, good times, togetherness, remembering Christmases past. It's both a festive and a spiritual time, and involves more than one family gathering and several, friends over for a cuppa, or drinks events. For these kinds of events, nothing makes Christmas more inspirational and memorable than a home fully decked out and decorated with the Christmas spirit.

Dont be frightened to go all in with a total Christmas look in your home. Christmas is a time when the hostess with the mostess gets well appreciated. Forget about minimalist design. It does not apply to Christmas and it's only a short term "cold and lonely" trend, that wont be in vogue next year.

The impact of well prepared Christmas decorations in the home can be an amazing thing. When you enter a home that has been optimised for Christmas in a tasteful way, you really, suddenly, feel good about the world. You suddenly feel that the occupants are glad to have a visitor and want to share the spirit of goodwill with you. You feel like you really want to know the people of this home, and you know that they care about each other.

Christmas really is the time to "deck the halls with boughs of holly" and transform your home in preparation for receiving of friends and family, and most of all for the "Night before Christmas".

Your Overall Colour Scheme.

Coloured Ribbons and Bows are a great way to have an effective colour scheme that lets your cherished ornaments blend into your current decor. So tie generous volumes of ribbons to chair backs, candlesticks, wreaths, garlands, basket handles, drapery tie-backs, stair rails, and doorknobs.

Bows and ribbons look very festive. You don't have to stick with red and green and the colours you choose should tie in the rest of your decor. If you can't find colours that blend well, then choose metallic silver, gold, white, green, or red. Ribbons that can be untied and re-tie each year will save money and ensure you end up with a good collection. Iron them before you pack them away.

You might want to add some personal touches to your Christmas efforts. If you're handy with your hands, Christmas crafts can be child's play.

Wreaths Garlands & Plaques

The impact of Christmas starts with a big welcome at your front door. But you also want to impact on the people in the home, so place a wreath or plaque on every door you have. Start with your best wreath or plaque on the front door to welcome everyone. Next go on to the back door, inside and out. Also hang them over the mantle, and in all of your front windows. Don't forget bedroom doors, inside and out.

For wreaths use pine, holly, or grapevine and decorate with berries, fruit, pinecones, raffia, ornaments, or sweets. To keep wreaths year after year, buy artificial wreaths that will last. Remember, you'll need room to store them!

Plaques are another interesting decorator idea to use on doors and walls and many versions can be found in timber and painted metal, which can be both cute, friendly and colourful. Enhance both your Door & Wall Plaques and your wreaths with garlands and with bows that tie them in to your current colour scheme.

Christmas Trees

A highly decorated evergreen tree, with colored lights ablaze inspires warm memories of Christmases long past for many people. The Christmas tree has become one of the best know festive symbols.

The tradition of using evergreen festive trees and decorating with branches of evergreen trees has played an important part in seasonal or New Year celebrations for many centuries, having been well established since ancient times.

Decide where to place the tree, giving it a focal point but keeping it out of high traffic areas where it might be bumped or where someone might trip on light cords. Place lighting on first, then garlands as they both need to be spaced well and tree ornaments could be bumped off if they are in the way. Arrange lights about halfway from the tips of the branches to the trunk of the tree, as well as on the perimeter of the tree

Space Tree Ornaments evenly. Usually you would have some more expensive or more attractive hanging tree ornaments that go on first, then add all of the filler ornaments in between. Place ornaments and other decorations 'inside' your tree, in addition to the tips of branches. This will add depth and interest. Last of all comes the ribbons and bows. These will be the link to your colour theme.

Think about having more than one Christmas tree skirt if you want to change you overall colour themes. Another great alternative is a Metal Christmas Screen
around the base of the tree. These are partly see through and can reveal a pile of gifts but still cover the tree stand or tree base sufficiently.

Nativity Sets

The nativity set should be another focal point, as Christmas is a celebration of Christ's birth. Even if you are not much into Christianity, most people agree that the guy dedicated his life to promoting "goodwill to all men" and that's what the Christmas spirit is still mainly about.

Ornament Displays

Christmas ornament displays are a neat way to spread some Christmas joy and happiness all through the home. A small table in the hall or entry is the place to start. A combination of a few select Christmas Ornaments together with Christmas Candles can really start people admiring. Themes can be good, and each location could have a different theme. Suggested themes are; Santas, Angels, Snowmen, Reindeer, Moose, Snow Scenes, Christmas Village etc.

Other places to turn into ornament display settings are Coffee Tables, side boards, mantles, dressers, clothes chests, chests of draws, book shelves, display cabinets, bed side tables, desks, TV tops, cup shelves, bathroom cabinet tops, If you have a nested set of coffee tables they can all be strategically located.

Don't forget children's rooms where some budget priced Christmas ornaments can really make them feel an important part of the festivities. Here is where the funny faced Santas and snowmen come into the foreground.

Window Displays

Another important area for decorating with Christmas ornaments is in window displays. Mrs Colleen Praniess, a recent winner in our Christmas Lights Competition, has made an art form out of making comprehensive displays in her windows by putting large tables up to the front room windows and then forming a very large display box by hanging sheets behind it to section off the table from the rest of the room. This large cubical space on the table is then filled with Christmas ornament arrangements and lit up so that it is viewed by visitors looking in through the window. The curtains behind the table stop viewers from seeing the rest of the room. See examples of her wonderfull displays here: Colleen's Winter Wonderland.

Table Centre Pieces

A table centre piece can be an excellent focal point to inspire your visitors. Suggested options for Christmas Table Centre pieces are: - Christmas Wreaths, Poinsettia or Holly, Christmas Candlesticks with bow decorated Candles, Pile of small gifts on a platter, Platter of small ornaments, or use your favorite large Christmas Collectible as a centerpiece. Showcase one beautiful Christmas figurine on your holiday table. Whether it's a family heirloom or new purchase, this could be the focus of your Christmas table.

Table Settings

Use Christmas tableware for every meal in December. Search through your cupboards and find any dishes that look festive. Collect a set of suitable plates and add Christmas bowls and platters that coordinate. Add new pieces each year, soon, you'll be able to serve a colour co-ordinated feast.

Your Christmas dinner tablecloth must be something special. Make sure you get one with a suitable colour and design that is long enough for your extended table. Napkins and Christmas Napkin Rings are a must for such an important family feast.

Arrange candles on the dining table and dine by candlelight each evening in December, even if you're just having leftovers. Every meal will feel special.

Christmas Lighting

In addition to lighting your Christmas tree it's nice to have some window lighting that shines out and tells evening passers that this is a home that celebrates the joy of Christmas. Perhaps a star or lighting curtain will add that something extra to the home. Outdoor lighting in this day and age is a whole other subject.

Getting into the Spirit of Christmas

It's really important to get the kids into the real spirit if Christmas at a young age. You could be surprised at how well some of our, electronic games and TV addicted children, can enjoy some participation, particularly if you are in it with them.

Kids should make, or purchase, small gifts for each of the neighbors, friends and for their school teachers in the lead up to Christmas. Hand made or budget priced tree ornaments are ideal. Even the most homely basic gift from a small child will be very warmly received, and grandparents will absolutely treasure them if they can hang them on a tree.

Don't forget to arrange a special Christmas Candle in your toilet too they are not expensive.

Make sure you are ready on Christmas day, and other December nights when you are having guests, to have a good Christmas songs CD playing softly in the background. This will really set the mood on their arrival.

Have a great family Christmas. Godbless.  :)

How to Choose the Best Christmas Gifts For Your Kids

on Wednesday, 2 November 2011

Christmas is coming, and this would be a great occasion to think about what gifts to surprise your kids. Although not every kid has the same interest, it's simple to select a gift that can fit all kids. Read the following simple yet effective guidelines and find out how!

Before I talk about more details, I want to set this one out crystal clear.

If you know the interests of your kids, and you know you can afford it, by all means make their wishes come true. Christmas comes once a year. And this is a great time to make your children love you more.

Agree? OK, so let's talk about the major issue.

What we have today is 5 good tips that I know will help you make better decisions. Choosing a Christmas gift for someone special should be an enjoyable activity not another one in your must-do list. Just keep relaxing.

Tip #1: Be sure that you select the correct gift for your child's age

How old is your little one? 5 years old, or older?

I will take toys as the main example. Fact is, toys are not designed equally. Some are suitable for secondary school children, while others might be suitable for toddles or younger ones.

And remember to always look for the warning signs on toys (choking hazard warning is one of them). Let your toddle play with something sharp is a very bad idea, really!

So next time you go buying Christmas toys, make sure you keep this tip in mind.

Tip #2: How about educational toys?

Let me tell you this. Educational toys will never go wrong!

Yes, they are not the most interesting gifts on Earth. But when you're stuck with ideas, why not choose them?

Every kid will benefit from it. In addition with the fact that says educational toys are becoming more attractive, they will be a great problem solving these Holidays!

Tip #3: Choose the right gift for the right kid

Boys like robots from Transformers and girls like Barbie dolls. Is it correct?

OK, there might be some exceptions but I think it applies to many children out there. And don't underestimate your kids of this. Just give your young son a doll to play with this Christmas and see how he react!

Fact is, when your kids have their favorite gifts from you, they will appreciate it and have more fun playing with them as well.

And it doesn't need too much effort to do, right?

Tip #4: You shouldn't give them violent or other harmful toys!

"Daddy I want that gun, can I have it?"

If your son said so, what would you do? Buy it? No, please don't!

If you love your child and want to grow him up to become a good guy, don't let him play with such toys at early ages. Violent toys do nothing but amplifying the bad natures inside a kid.

There are tons of other helpful ones out there. Pick one for your kid.

Tip #5: How about a toy that simulates a famous animation movie?

Children love animation and other colorful things. That's a fact. So why don't you give them what they like?

It has even more effect when the toy tells their favorite animation and it helps increasing the creativity of your children? An excellent Christmas gift, right?

How to Choose the Best Christmas Gift for Your Partner

on

Advantages of Christmas gifts are tremendous.
But I really wish choosing a Christmas present was easy.
Christmas is just around the corner, and everyone is busy surfing the internet for their desired gifts.
Have you chosen presents for your loved ones?
Christmas time is an ideal occasion for giving gifts. Christmas gifts draw individuals closer; create true love and fondness among people and further enhance personal relationships. It is a potent signal that you're thinking about the other person - someone special for you.
Typically, special occasions and traditions usually narrow our choices. Same goes with Christmas. Still, there are several other factors like sex, age, occupation etc. that need to be considered when choosing a Christmas gift.
Before hurrying to acquire a gift, make certain it fulfills the desires of the receiver and also goes well with the occasion.
But how to decide whether a gift is good enough or not?
Here is a checklist of factors you have to keep in mind if you want to purchase a 'good enough' gift.
  • The likings and taste of the recipient.
  • The objective of the gift. (For example, you are trying to seduce your lover or wishing to impress your boss to get a promotion)
  • Basics and customary gift etiquette. Never ignore them; gag gifts are fun but at times they can backfire.
  • Satisfactory budget. Don't become a miser- It's Christmas after all!
  • Planning and customization beforehand to steer clear of last second headache.
If you fail to select a proper gift item, the recipient may for courtesy show some admiration, but the gift maybe placed on a shelf, given to another person or even auctioned off on eBay.
DON'T let this happen to your gift.
Here is one more check-list to make sure you don't pick an 'unwanted gift'.
  • Will the recipient appreciate it and admire it?
  • Does it add value to the life of the receiver?
  • Could the receiver use it or enjoy it regularly?
  • Can it act as a reminder of your sweet intentions?
  • Will it make a long-term impression?
  • Is it the 'best bang for your buck'?
The best Christmas present is one that the receiver has always wanted to have. For your family or friends, it can be something they need or like, you obviously know their desires. You can also choose something you want to share with them.
For your colleagues and boss, go for something more formal and business oriented.
The best advice anybody can give you is to shop around before clicking that buy button - there is always a huge difference between prices offered by different sellers. Also don't overlook the shipping charges; sometimes they can make a significant difference.
Order the gift well before the 25 December, so that you have enough wiggle room to adjust or replace it in case it's not what you were promised.
Never buy from a fishy seller; internet is full of modern 'snake oil salesmen'. Also don't risk your money on anything you haven't used or seen before, no matter it sounds to be a magical product. Only choose items by renowned manufacturers and only buy from credible online stores.
A good present reminds the recipient of the love you possess for them and there is no superior occasion than Christmas - make it count!

How to make Halloween Pranks

on Wednesday, 26 October 2011

Want to have fun or create a good scare? Halloween is not only for treats, it's for tricks too. We've got some good ideas for pranks and jokes here that are sure to get a surprised reaction. Funny or not, we focus on pranks that are not destructive to anyone's property or well-being -- it's just not cool.

Dress up as though you are the inanimate Halloween Decor for your lawn. Example: scarecrow, Frankenstein, etc. Be as still as you can. When someone walks by, jump out and scare the heck out of them. Another idea is to lay flat on the lawn, pretending to be in a grave marked with a tombstone. Imagine their surprise when you rise from the dead!

  • Ring doorbell and say "canned goods or meat."
  • Get dressed up, knock on door. When person answers, put candy into his bowl.
  • Visit friends' houses and write on the mirror with your finger, delivering a scary message such as "I'm watching you!" Breathe on the mirror and you can see your words. Let it dry naturally. When your friend takes a shower, the words will appear again when the mirror fogs up.
  • Give away fake, plastic turds for treats.
  • Get dressed up so you are unrecognizable. Join a group of trick-or-treaters, preferably some you know. It will drive them nuts not knowing who you are.
  • Decorate your yard with all things superstitious. Ladder, black cat, broken mirror, crows. Put the number 13 on your door.
  • Dress up in a hospital gown and walk around at night saying "They think I'm crazy, but I'm not. They deserved to die. They can't take me back, etc, etc."
  • Dress up, ring doorbell. When someone answers, say "pull my finger."
  • Traditional, ring doorbell and run.
  • Toilet paper your own yard and accuse someone else of doing it.
  • Gather everyone's jack o' lanterns and line them up on the sidewalk in middle of the block.

How to make Halloween Costumes - from stuff you already own

on

It's that dreaded time of year again. No, not tax time. Nope, not time for New Year's resolutions, either. It's Halloween costume time. As in, the time of year where you wonder if you should just turn down the invitation to your friend's party because you have no idea what to wear or how much you'll have to spend for something you'll never use again. But never fear. You can accept the invitation with pleasure, because there are many easy, inexpensive, fun costumes out there.

1. Go as a bunch of grapes. Find some bright purple balloons, attach them to a cheap black or purple T-shirt, find some black or purple shorts, and you're ready to go.

- Find a little green beanie and you've got a stem.

- Use dark baloons and make yourself a blackberry, red ones to make yourself a raspberry.

2. Go as a person from another country where they wear robes. Pick your country. Many places in Africa, India, and the Middle East could be included here. Use old (or even current, if you're careful) bedsheets and wrap them around you until it looks right. Pin any areas you don't want to fly open. Voila...your'e a farmer/peasant/refugee from somewhere else.

- If helping out refugees is your kind of thing, this can give you a chance to connect for your cause at the party.

- Add some beaded jewelry or some extravagant earrings to make yourself even more exotic.

3. Make up a superhero. All you really need is a cape to be convincing, and that's easy to make from an old bedsheet or just about any piece of material you have lying around. After that, you can go as low maintence ("Hi there, littile girl, I'm Regular Guy!") or as high maintenance as you want.

- Do something funky with your hair. That will stand out at the party, as most of the people will know you with it in a particular way, and will go far to create a persona for your character.

- Wear bright colors and/or tights. This will distract people from the fact that they've never heard of your hero before.

4. Be a serial killer or a psycho stalker. Wear your normal clothes (after all, these people are virtually indistinguishable from everyone else on the outside). Act slightly strange all night: stare at people, refuse to answer when they ask you what you are, laugh at things that aren't funny.

- Carry a box of breakfast cereal and tell people it's a clue to what you are. Offer a prize to whoever guesses correctly. Give the winner the box of cereal.

- Pick a person and follow them around for the duration of the party. Hide behind corners, furniture, potted plants when they look your way. Be obvious...be very obvious.

5. Go as a failed gymnast. Wear clothes that are identifiably sporty--sweats, track pants, yoga pants, etc.--and spend the night trying to touch your toes or other stretches. Turn somersaults and look like you expect applause. Limp. Lament loudly the loss of your career, the win that got away, how "if only" that 15-year old from China had eaten the day before, you would have your medal.

- If you have a swim cap and goggles, add them to the outfit and be a failed swimmer.

- Get someone to come as your coach. Dress them coachishly (sweats are great!) and give them a whistle. Have them come up to you repeatedly yelling coachish things. Ignore them unless they have food.

Clearly, a Halloween costume can be more about personality and less about what you wear. So think up a character, dress appropriately, then act your way through the night. More than anything, though, have a blast! And if any of these costumes win a prize, I want to know!

How to Change a Computer Power Supply

on Thursday, 20 October 2011

Running a PC with power supply fan problems will cook the machine, so if you don’t hear a fan running or hear one starting to die, the only thing to do is to shut down the system. Then head for the computer store and buy a new power supply. They come very cheap these days.

Changing a computer power supply can be done by just about anyone who can operate a screwdriver. Pay attention to the box label, because the only difference in appearance between an AT supply box and an ATX supply box will often be that single letter. Here’s how to change a computer power supply:

1. Unplug the computer.

2. Spend a minute studying what cables go where, including disk drive data cables you might dislodge when untangling the existing power cables.

3. Disconnect the 2-inch wide cable that goes to the motherboard. These have a clip that must be depressed before you can remove them. Then disconnect the power supplies to your various disk drives.

4. Holding the power supply with one hand, remove the four screws that attached it to the case with the other hand. (Motherboards get cranky when heavy metal objects fall on them.)

5. Attach the new power supply and connect the cable to motherboard and disk drive. It takes about 10 minutes.

How to Avoid Computer Viruses

on

There is a war being fought, often right underneath our very noses. It is a war fought not with guns, or with bombs, but by computer viruses, worms and Trojan horses. Computer viruses have been around for a long time. They’re often hidden in your e-mail inbox, among all those offers for quick cash, a bag of diamonds, enlarging this and reducing that, even spam telling you how to get rid of spam.

A worm is a type of computer virus that generally spreads and replicates itself without relying on any actions on the part of a computer user. A Trojan horse masquerades as a benign program, sometimes one that claims to get rid of viruses, when in truth it inserts a virus into your computer.

Virus attacks haven’t attracted much notice from mainstream news media, although that has begun to change. Over the past years, several viruses of varying types, such as the “Blaster” worm virus, made national and international headlines. Law enforcement has historically had a tough time dealing with cases like these. It’s tough to track down computer hackers.

In many cases, damage to individual computer users in virus attacks is minimal. Many simply exist to propagate themselves, ordering the infected machine to spread the virus to as many other systems as the computer can find. Some merely display irritating messages on your screen, tantamount to someone getting in your face and giving you the raspberry.

Some, however, can corrupt critical files that will cripple your computer, and wipe away irreplaceable data. Also, when a virus like “Blaster” comes about, which spreads with alarming speed, it can overload servers and bring entire sections of the Internet to a halt. That’s why it is very important to learn how to avoid computer viruses.

Here’s the bottom line. If you own a computer and use the Internet, you need virus protection to avoid computer viruses. It is becoming progressively easier to become infected. Computers running Microsoft Windows-based operating systems are the big targets, partly because they use the most common operating system, and also because Windows – along with its component programs – are often the most vulnerable.

One thing is to purchase an antivirus program, such as Symantec or McAfee’s, which will scan incoming e-mail and downloaded files, as well as searching your computer’s hard drives for lurking viruses. This is the first step in avoiding computer viruses, but merely buying and installing one of those programs isn’t enough. Each of those programs gives you a “subscription” to new virus definitions, which must be downloaded on a regular basis in order to avoid the newest threats.

If you use Microsoft programs such as Internet Explorer and the e-mail program Outlook or Outlook Express, you need to keep on top of Microsoft’s security updates, which have become more and more frequent. Point your Web browser to windowsupdate.microsoft.com, but be warned. If it’s been a while since you bought your computer or updated your version of Windows, you’ll have a lot of data to download. If you have a dial-up modem connection to the Internet, leave it running overnight.

Apple Macintosh computers don’t present as tempting a target to hackers and virus writers because they represent only a fraction of operating computers, which works in Mac users’ favor, since there are comparatively few computer viruses that are written to attack Macintoshes.

Also, a good rule of thumb to follow is that if you receive a file you don’t recognize, delete it immediately. Treat it as you would a ticking package – don’t even think of opening it. Even so, getting an antivirus program should be a priority for anyone who uses the Internet.

How to Type Fast

on

Are you one of those people who have to look at the keyboard while typing because you are unsure where all the the letters are? Do you use both hands equally with each finger knowing its letter, or do you only use one hand with the occasional help of the other? Whatever your case might be, you can surely learn how to type fast and speed up your work.

The first thing you should do is learn, if you don’t already know it, the so called home row finger placement. It is the starting position for your fingers, so make sure each finger knows its place. Without that, you won’t be able to type fast without looking at the keyboard, and that is exactly what slows you down.

For those using the standard QWERTY keyboard the starting position goes like this: the thumbs are on the spacebar, the left hand fingers on the “A,” “S,” “D,” and “F” keys, while the right hand fingers on the “J,” “K,” L” and “;” keys. You will then move your fingers up or down to hit other letters, just remember to put them back to the starting position as soon as you do.

Of course, you have to memorize where the letters on the keyboard are. It might be a good idea to start learning to type two letters, then the next two and so on until you learn them all. A good tutor or software could help you do this.

You also need to be concentrated and watch your fingers as little as possible. You will probably need to look at the keyboard for a while, but with time and practice, your fingers will remember their place and you will be able to look away and type fast.

I would also suggest some simple, but efficient exercises. First, type the alphabet until you memorize where all the letters are. Then, master typing your name without looking at the keyboard. And there is one more, type this sentence, it’s good practice because it has every letter on the keyboard: “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.” And here is one more practice sentence: “Crazy Fredericka bought many very exquisite opal jewels.”

Be patient, it takes time to get used to typing fast without looking down. Your typing will be slow and full of mistakes at first, but it will get better and faster as you keep practicing.

The next step would be to practice typing paragraphs. They help a lot because your typing gets faster and faster as you repeatedly type the same words. Find some shorter paragraph to begin with, and then move on to the longer ones. Don’t worry about the mistakes.

Online activities and games can be quite helpful, for you will surely find the one for your level of speed and have fun while improving both your typing speed and your accuracy.

There is a variety of them, including those that teach you to type letter by letter, those that measure your speed by giving you words to type like Fast Typer, and those that give you the whole paragraphs to practice. I would recommend FREETYPINGGAME.NET because it has all of the above.

You can also use some of the many tutorial programs and online typing courses to practice and check your progress. Take some of the typing tests to see how fast you are, and then take them again after some time to see your improvement.

IMTYPING.COM is a good place to start.

Finally, let’s not forget about your typing posture. Make sure you are comfortable. Sit up straight and relax your body and your hands. If they become sore or cramped, stop and take a break.

And keep practicing! Join a forum, chat room, or a social network where you will be able to communicate with others, improve your typing speed and learn how to type fast.

How to fix Rundll32 Error

on Thursday, 13 October 2011

A Rundll32 error happens when Windows attempts to load a file and fails to do it. When this happens a message will usually pop up on the screen informing the user that a rundll32 error has occurred. There are many things that can cause rundll32.exe error, it could be a drive error, virus, undetected malware or spyware, or a faulty or incomplete software installation. Faulty or incomplete uninstallation of software can also cause this problem. To solve this problem you need to first reboot your system and see if it occurs again. If rebooting does not eliminate the error you need to do an intelligent guess as to the nearest possible cause.

Think about the last program you uninstalled, was is a successful uninstall? Or have you installed a new program lately and you are not sure if it was completely installed? These are possible leads to the solution of the problem. If you figure out that it could be an incomplete uninstall that is the culprit, install the program again and then perform a clean uninstall. If it is a faulty install of a software that is causing the problem then just do a new install of the software in question. If these steps do not solve the problem do a complete scan of your drives with your anti-virus software. Be sure that your anti-virus software is updated. You can also change to a better antivirus software if you believe that the antivirus you are using is not that good. Recommended antivirus software are Eset Smart security or Eset Nod 32 antivirus. You can also use Kaspersky Internet Security or the latest AVG antivirus. If you believe that the rundll32 error is caused by a registry problem, run your registry fix software. I recommend using RegVac or RegCure, there two registry software perform well.

If after doing the computer virus scan or registry scan the problem is still there, try doing a clean boot on your computer. To do this click on the Start button and click on "run". In the input field type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and hit enter. The System Configuration utility will open. Choose the selective start up option and deselect all the programs listed there except one. It doesn't matter which one you keep selected because you are doing this to try to find out which among the startup programs listed is the cause or the rundll32 error. Click OK and then reboot. Repeat the process but change to a different start up program every time you reboot until you covered every start up program in the list and you come into the program that causes the rundll32 error. Once you have identified the program that is causing the problem you can remove it completely or reinstall it properly.

How to care a New Born Baby

on

Expecting a new baby can be the most exciting and wondrous time of life. Babies are the most delightful and magical little creatures and to have one on the way can be the most wonderful part of being a human being. When you are expecting a baby, there are some things that you want to have set up before the baby's arrival just to make sure that all is in order before the baby's birth. You want to make sure, first of all, that the baby has a place to sleep and has a proper crib and basinet.

A basinet is an important feature if you live in a rather large house or if you have two floors. Though a basinet is not essential, it is highly useful because a crib is not portable and if you do not have this then you will have to move the baby around in a carrier. So, if you keep a basinet, you can take the baby where you want to whether you are up or down and that way they will have a nice place to sleep in two different parts of the house. Now, if you think a crib is enough, you will want to choose between a round crib or a rectangle crib. Though more fashionable certainly, round cribs are actually rather impractical because the baby will grow and soon not be able to fit in the crib.

Also there is a lot of wasted space in the crib, that you will be able to use in the rectangle crib. This decision might also depend upon how large your room or the nursery for your baby is and that will also help you decide how big to make the crib. Next you want to make sure you have few basic outfits for the baby. Now if you don't know the sex of the child, that is fine, but you want to have a few generic type outfits, like a onesie piece and some shorts and a lot of blankets because your child will need it for every nap and every moment really for the first few months. You want to make sure you have a good store of blankets as you will constantly be laundering them for new ones after spit ups and other things. You want to make sure you have diapers in the right size and also plenty of formula, wipes, and pacifiers. The hospital will be sure to give you most of these things at the beginning, but you want to still have your own supply, as well, and choose brands you trust.

It's important to have your house stocked and ready because when the baby comes there won't be any time for these preparations and you will find that all your time is going into making sure that you are taking care of your child.
